The MBL complex sits very close to Dubai Marina, separated by Sheikh Zayed Road, the lifeline of Dubai and the Dubai Metro. The two metro stops ‘Sobha Realty’ (formerly Dubai Marina) and ‘DMCC’ pedestrianize and interlink the two sides together to include JLT as part of ‘New Dubai’ along with JBR and the marina.
JLT is a fantastic place to live and just as great to visit, attracting Dubai’s residents with some of its unique bars and restaurants; from Greek, Indian, French, or Vegan food that the local’s swear by, there’s definitely a flavor to satisfy the fussiest of diners, every day of the week. The McGettigans Irish Pub is a rooted fixture of JLT having been established close to its inception in 2005, it's since become a cornerstone of JLT living, providing live music from international bands and delicious pub fare.
The locality of JLT places it within walking distance to a host of luxury shopping facilities and malls, restaurants, bars, metro line, numerous beaches, and the world's top golf courses. The Neighbourhood
Dubai Creek Harbour rises above its namesake waterway and is located between the city's historical locales and newer hubs of Downtown Dubai and Business Bay which are just 10 to 15 minutes away by car. The district is the ideal spot for enjoying a slower pace of life and taking in the serene skyline and marina views over an al fresco meal at food trucks or cafes. Stroll along the 6km promenade and stop for photographs at one of the bright-hued art installations or hop aboard a boat tour and enjoy some of the city’s key landmarks from the water. Bur Dubai is a historic district in Dubai located on the western side of the Dubai Creek. The name literally translates to Mainland Dubai, a reference to the traditional separation of the Bur Dubai area from Deira by the Dubai Creek. Bur Dubai is also now home to some iconic buildings, like the Wafi Mall, Zabeel Park and Dubai Frame.
Whenever you’re ready to head into the city, a 15-minute taxi will take you to trendy DIFC for fine dining experiences in Dubai style or Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall for a frenetic shopping experience. For those lazy beach days, a taxi will get you to the Arabian Gulf in 20 minutes, and for the more adventurous traveler, you can venture out on a Dhow Dinner Cruise.
