    The Neighborhood
    The perfect encapsulation of old and new, Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a clever shopping and dining destination next to the iconic Burj Al Arab. Offering a wonderfully modern take on an old Arabian town, it’s all about the electric atmosphere, incredible scents and the mix of bars, restaurants and coffee shops that run alongside the palm-fringed canals. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, jewellery or something a little more decorative, this old-style bazaar is the perfect place to indulge in a little retail therapy.

    With nearly 50 different bars and restaurants on site, personal preference lies at the heart of the dining experience here. The prettiest al fresco spots sit clustered alongside the canals; sun traps by day and enchanting at night, take a seat on the terrace to make the most of the Burj Al Arab backdrop. You can also slow down the pace and swap the shops for the scenery with a serene afternoon boat ride along the souk’s beautiful canals. 

    Alternatively, you can always hail an RTA taxi to get you to Dubai Marina and JBR in 15 minutes, or The Palm Jumeirah in 10 minutes. From there, you can explore The Lost Chambers at the infamous Atlantis Hotel then party into the night.       The Neighbourhood
      Downtown Dubai is the dynamic hub of this burgeoning young city, filled with the regions biggest and the world’s greatest attractions such as The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination, The Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain and of course the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa. All of which are a short walking distance from the apartment, along with the Dubai Opera House and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the vibrant thoroughfare dotted with cafes and retail outlets.

      Whenever you’re ready to head out into the city, a 10-minute taxi will take you to trendy DIFC for fine dining experiences Dubai style. For those lazy beach days, a taxi will get you to the Arabian Gulf in 5 minutes and for the more adventurous traveller, how about venturing out to Dubai Creek and taking a Dhow Dinner Cruise.       The Neighborhood
      Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and Dubai Marina is where everything comes together: water sports, shopping, international dining, live entertainment, working out and hanging back.

      JBR is a beachfront promenade set around 1 mile of skyscrapers designed with an Arabian touch. It’s vibrant and family friendly with plenty of places to sit, have a shisha and watch the sunset over the Arabian Gulf. There are loads of things to keep the kids entertained, including a splash pad, beachfront playground, train ride and mini fare ground with games and prizes. Hop on a camel and take a tour of the shoreline or sweat it out in The Beach’s outdoor gym. Check out local artisans at The Beach market or grab some VIP tickets to the movies for a quiet night out. JBR is a place that really comes alive at night and has plenty to offer the partygoers with multitude of bars and nightlife.

      For a slower pace and quieter night, take a walk over to Dubai Marina and jump on a yacht for the day and sail around the Palm Jumeirah, or a Dhow boat for dinner. Enjoy the café’s or go shopping in the Marina Mall. Immerse yourself in a culinary experience at Pier 7, a signature building that offers a new adventure in fine dining, with a contrast in tastes, presentation, ambience and style on every floor.
